Philippine Airlines plans to resume some international and domestic flights on selected routes in the coming weeks. However, Philippine Airlines cautions customers that these plans are highly subject to change, depending on a number of crucial factors related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Starting May month, PAL setting plans to operate a reduced number of weekly flights on our routes to Japan, the USA, Canada, Guam, Australia, the U.K., Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taipei, Macau, Saudi Arabia, and Korea. Philippine Airlines also stated that it would not operate any flights to Auckland, New York JFK, Dubai, Doha, Perth, Melbourne, Port Moresby, and Sapporo in May.v
“We are readying plans to resume partial domestic operations at some point within the period from April 15 to May 31. The start date will depend on the lifting of the community quarantine restrictions vs. domestic air travel.” Stated in the website statement.
Philippine Airlines will operate the following special flights from Toronto and Vancouver to Manila on April 14 using Airbus A350 aircraft.
These one-off Canada-Manila flights are allowed to carry only Filipinos, their foreign spouse and children, and accredited officials of foreign governments and international organizations, to comply with current Philippine travel entry restrictions.
